These last weeks most of the flagships of the major US carries have been getting the long awaited update. Android 5.0 Lollipop has already been released for the HTC One devices (Sprint, an T-Mobile versions) and the Galaxy S5 (Sprint and Verizon). Motorola had already release the update on November for the Moto X and Moto G, almost at the same time that the Nexus family were updated to Lollipop.
AT&T had already updated their LG G3, and now Sprint has also announced the OTA update. Below, you can check the changelog posted on Sprint newsroom:

This is a major update, so make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network before starting to download the file. And of course, check that you have enough battery to go throught the whole installation.
To manually check for the update, go to “Settings” and tap on “System updates”. Once there, go to “Update LG software” and tap on “Check now”. If the file is available, you will find the option to start the download, and when it is completed, you can just proceed to install it.
After the installation, the phone will restart, and you start enjoying the new Android 5.0 Lollipop on your LG G3!
