Samsung Galaxy S5 finally receive the update to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in AT&T


Four months after T-Mobile, AT&T begins to release update to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900A version). Android 5.1.1 update brings improvements in performance, security and functionality of Galaxy S5. Also, it brings Android for Work and corrects flaws that showed Samsung with ultra-saver battery mode when devices are encrypted.

To update Android on your Galaxy S5, you must be connected to Wi-Fi to download the update over 600MB and have at least 50 percent of the battery. You can go to Settings > About phone > Software update > Update now to check if you already have enabled the upgrade. As usual, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update may take a couple of days or weeks to reach all users.
