OnePlus has announced a new firmware update with the purpose of fixing the problems with the touchscreen that the OnePlus One had since it was released. Anyway, great news to solve one of the main problems of a more than solvent smartphone.
Although its release was a revolution and especially because it is one of the pioneers in making that side of the world with different eyes see for Chinese terminals, which increasingly have more acceptance, not everything is always good from the beginning, and in the case of OnePlus One it seems that one of the main problems with which the terminal had was related to the failure of multiple touch points on the screen. And rectify is wise, it seems that is what they have done from the company, again.
OnePlus One recognized the problem of its multi-touch screen and tried to resolve the problem with firmware in November/December, but some problems still persisted. In fact, the company also assumed the fault they had, explained its users what it must be and after some months it seems to be fixe at all. According to a statement they made, the error comes from digitizer firmware, so a collaboration with the company Synaptics is necessary to solve it. They have not clarified what is or when it will occur.
It is true that it is nothing more than the mere fact that OnePlus has finally listened to its users and has admitted the error. But for many, the response has been too late and insufficient. Moreover, there are those who believe it is nothing more than an excuse for prolonging the situation because no one knows how to cope it. In any case, it is clear that companies should take more care of these details of communication, because as we know, it is much harder to get a new customer than to keep the ones that already are. And OnePlus One had a good start. We’ll see if finally end the same way, or not.
