Motorola updating Android 4.4.4 on a variety of devices globally
Motorola has shown a current look at the changes that are currently driving out of their mobile phones, in several regions. Because many of these devices have jumped Android 4.4.3 to go to Android 4.4.4, the update brings a new marker (originally found on Android 4.4.3), and allows those who took a video to stop filming, and resume where they left off. Speaking of the camera, the update also offers a higher image quality for still images. And with enhanced security for OpenSSL, which are less likely to be bothered by the Heartbleed vulnerability.
As we told you some time ago, Motorola was pushing out some updates on their phones that start in only a few countries, but now we know that Android 4.4.4 is now being pushed out for Motorola Moto G in Brazil and India. The Motorola Moto E is getting the same update in Brazil, France, Canada and the Asia-Pacific market. In the U.S., Motorola says it is in the process of updating the Motorola DROID Ultra to Android 4.4.4.
No mention of the Motorola DROID MAXX and Motorola DROID Mini, both of which are supposedly becoming part of a soak test ofAndroid 4.4.4 to be sent to members of the Motorola Feedback Network. After the test, the two models to the list of phones that are getting manufacturer will add the Android 4.4.4 update.
