Moto X Style Moto X 2014 receiving official Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Moto X Style and Moto X 2014 start receiving official Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Again, Motorola is taking an important step with the deployment of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and it will be coming soon to smartphones Moto X Style and Moto X 2014, as shared on Google+ by David Schuster, head of product management software.

The update for the Moto X 2014 will be available first in Brazil, while the Moto X Style, available to buy since just two months ago, will also have an update in Brazil and also in India. In the coming weeks, Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be available in other countries too, probably United States and also other countries in Europe.

Moreover, Schuster said the update to the Moto X Pure Edition is already underway and it will be arriving in the coming weeks too, but we assume it will follow the pattern of the Moto X 2014 and Moto X Style. Wonderful news, indeed.

In the same Google+ publication he also shared some news of the latest version of Android, as a storage manager to know how much space the apps use, a button of “do not disturb” in the shade of notifications, Google Now on Tap, battery management Doze, the option to use a microSD and internal memory and automatic backups for data applications, among other features that we already knew but that look good enough to be remembered about it.

Once the update is available, users of the Moto X Style and Moto X 2014 will be notified about it and will be able to find it in the Settings of their smartphones, or via OTA too.
