Android 4.5 or Android 5 update rumored will be revealed today
A few days before the Google I/O 2014 (the Google developers conference), many of us are wondering what Android update they will present, the 4.5 or 5.0. If the Apple WWDC held a few weeks ago was a success, we expect for the Google I/O 2014 being also a success (it’s going to be held on June 25 and 26). IOS 8 and OS X Yosemite were introduced in Apple’s conference. Google should try to get up to Apple. Maybe the pump is presenting Android 5 although it is possible that Google introduces Android 4.5 Lollipop version. However, the presentation of the 4.5 will not generate the buzz that would make the presentation of the 5.0.
Android 4.4 KitKat was presented in October 2013. People have been waiting for an update to their Android devices for a year already. Some think that the next version will be a totally different version, a generational leap, the Android 5.0 version.
-Android 4.5 Lollipop or Android 5?
New Android versión will be revealed today and it could be called Android 4.5 Lollipop and would introduce new applications for smartwatches of Google and improved messaging platform. It would incorporate “Project Hera”, which would connect even more to Google Now devices and the web. This release would make sense since Android updates usually occur in a time period of 5-8 months and this conference takes place nine months after Android 4.4 KitKat was introduced for the first time. Also, one of the rumored new features of 4.5 version is to avoid factory reset to stolen phones.
