We continue with the round of updates to Android 5.1 Lollipop, this time it’s the turn to Motorola Moto E LTE, that is, the second generation of cheaper terminal of the company now in the domains of Lenovo.
Motorola remains being the fastest company -after Google itself, of course- in terms of updates, and it demonstrates once again. Motorola Moto E second generation has begun to update to Android 5.1 Lollipop, with the 23.11.25 number version, and also, it seems that is not the soak test we have seen in the past, but a final version. For now, the new version of the system is reaching XT1527 models for the American market, but should begin to be deployed globally over the coming weeks.
We remind you that the Motorola Moto E LTE is a terminal with 4.5-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, 1GB of RAM, and of course, 4G LTE connectivity. It is undoubtedly one of the best buys that currently exist in the market at the low end range devices, especially if we consider its superb quality/price ratio.
Android 5.1 includes a bunch of updates and improvements, especially bug crawling problems from Android 5.0 Lollipop, as some with wireless connections, notifications, or forced closures of certain apps. Yes, it seems that neither the excessive consumption of battery, and already popular RAM bug have been fixed in this release for sure.
At the moment, we still have no an exact date for updating the Motorola Moto E first generation, which is still in Android 4.4 KitKat, but according to the company, it will be updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop directly, like the first Motorola Moto G 4G. And recently they have also confirmed that the Motorola Moto X Original will receive this update in the coming weeks. We will keep you informed.
