Yesterday, we brought bad news for owners of the HTC One Mini 2 in relation to the announce to not update to the latest version of the operating system, Android 5.0 Lollipop, due to technical issues. Well, today, much to our regret, we have to continue with the bad news, or at least a possibility that, if met, appeal to many users, with Samsung Galaxy Note II.
According to Samsung Gulf, operating in the Persian Gulf, the upgrade to Android Lollipop will not be released for the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the phablet second generation of the South Korean firm, which was presented in August 2012, so this year will be its third anniversary. That was the response on Facebook to a user interested in learning more about this update:
However, this contradicts what, last February, Samsung claimed from Poland also through social networks. Can therefore only certain Samsung Galaxy Note II be updated, and the Europeans are among them? We certainly hope so. To update, the Samsung Galaxy Note II could boast of being one of the few devices with more than two years on the market, officially receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop, which certainly speak well of the Asian company, and its efforts to keep alive one of its most successful devices in its history. Anyway, hopefully, you will get this update, quite late in doing so.
For those who are not confident about it being updated, or for those who are not willing to wait, we remind you that you can install on your Samsung Galaxy Note II an Android 5.0 Lollipop version easily, if you have a rooted device.
