The LG G4C has begun rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow

After officially updated top-of-the-range LG G4, in the last few hours LG has officially begun the roll-out of Android 6.0 Marshmallow also for the LG G4C. While it still has not been updated in many other high-end smartphone from the competition, the Korean giant has already brought forward by releasing the latest release of the green robot also for the G4 with Snapdragon 410 processor.

The official update has been spotted at this time and certainly surprised the owners of G4C, who did not expect the arrival of Marshmallow in such a short time. LG is the first manufacturer to release an update to Android 6.0 with a custom UI for a medium to low-end device, confirming the excellent work done in recent years to improve support to their own devices.

The update weighs about 800 MB and Android 6.0 brings the January security patches. Currently availability via OTA was notified for all G4C unlocked and branded with Vodafone and other operators, but we do not exclude that within a few hours can get to the edge of all the devices on the market. At the time the confirmation comes from no brand models and Vodafone branded but the release is likely to continue for the other variants in the next few hours/days. This is great news for all owners of this smartphone that is definitely not one of the best device made by LG.

LG G4C features a 5-inch HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD. The photo department is composed of a rear 8-megapixel camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. On various e-commerce sites the price is around 130 euros. The news there, and, in addition to the new release of the green robot, we find, for example, some changes to the Knock Code. Not bad for a smartphone of this type, therefore, should be made a round of applause to LG for this movement.
