No doubt that Android 6.0 Marshmallow is one of the most anticipated updates, which will provide the new operating system to the Samsung handsets. Like other manufacturers, this update takes time, which among other things have to prove that the system works perfectly before launching any official version. And at this stage it seems that now the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow is arriving to Samsung, as the company is looking for volunteers to test the new system in its native country.
Certainly the huge range of Samsung is one of the largest in the market and will gradually receive the new version of the system of Mountain View company. The first step for this update to be effective is that this is tested by users, if only they are few, to make sure everything works well, or otherwise, to report the problems that an update of great significance as this Android 6.0 Marshmallow can cause in different devices of South Korean firm. And it has been there, in its native South Korea, where Samsung has launched a program to search “beta tester” or what is the same, volunteers to test the new operating system on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
This test program will run until January 18, and so far it is unknown whether it will extend to other more recent models, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. On the possibility of a test program like this in the European soil, some company sources have confirmed them in Europe that currently there are no plans to bring this testing program of Android 6.0 Marshmallow to Europe, by so for now we have to settle wait for another new program, which may never come to our latitudes.
In any case, as main conclusion, that this “beta tester” program is the main symptom of the new update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for high-end devices from Samsung and is in its final phase, before it is released as an automatic update. Probably this update, as we have known before, is ready at the end of next January.
