iOcean, the smartphone manufacturarer from Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China focused on the European market, just announced their plans to update the iOcean X8 to Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System, but it seems that this is not the only thing that the company is working on.
From the iOcean official page on Facebook comes the confirmation that they are preparing an update for the iOcean X8 from the factory basing on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. With the update to this new version of the operating system they expect to fix some bugs it has such as tactile sensitivity and light touch buttons problems. The quality and performance of the camera when taking pictures and a small bug caused in some phone numbers being not recognized will also be improved and fixed.
The OTA update will come soon for those who have an iOcean X8 0512 model. For other users with another iOcean X8 terminal, the waiting time will be a little longer. So far no one gives exact dates for it but they say they will keep their Facebook page updated with any developments that arise for those who are asking for this update on their smartphones and having some technical problems arising from this fact.
