First Devices Updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop

Google has finally released Android Lollipop, the new version of its famous Operating System, which brings a main difference regarding previous versions in the new visual look called Material Design, but also there are new improvements in security, privacy and autonomy of devices.

In addition to the official release of the Android Lollipop, Google Nexus devices will be the first to upgrade -obviously-, followed by Motorola terminals and gradually the new Operating System will be available for other smartphones and tablets, once it is adapted to them. The main reason why updates are not simultaneously (as with Apple and iOS) is that many manufacturers choose to add a layer of customization to Android in modifying some elements to add more features. This slows down updates because manufacturers must adapt each OS upgrade to their versions of Google Android, try them and finally make them available to users. So now we show what devices will be compatible with Android 5.0 Lollipop, highlighting the new Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 (bringing the new Operating System as standard), and soon others will join as HTC devices, Motorola and Sony.
