As always in technology, time happen fast, yesterday we talk about Android 5.1 and 5.2, and today we talk about Android 5.1.1, a new updated version from which so far we had not had a confirmation, but informations about the builds coming. In the last hours, however, the search giant confirmed Android 5.1.1 LMY47W for Nexus 7 2013 and LMY47S for Nexus 9.
This is the first official information on the arrival of another new Lollipop update coming in the next weeks. In this case, in addition to information on the build number, we can notice an improvement in audio latency compared to the previous releases. It only remains now to await the availability of OTA that, especially on Nexus 9, could come directly from the current 5.0.1 to 5.1.1.
With a build date availability of February 16th, we still do not know if these will be the exact builds coming to this devices. The Nexus 7 has been updated to Android 5.1 operating system, with mixed results. However, abour the Nexus 9 we have not heard yet about an update from Google. In fact, it is the last nexus device remains stuck in the first version of Android Lollipop.
As can be seen upon entering the official website of Android, is sure that we have a new official release of an update of the famous operating system. In any case, we still await official confirmation of dates and OTAs, as mentioned earlier. Hopefully this way, the Nexus nine arrangements will eventually get so desperately needs.
