Android 5.0.1 Lollipop is reaching the Nexus devices


Google has started to release a small update for Android 5.0 Lollipop. The new version is 5.0.1, and the factory images has already been released for some of the Nexus devices.

It been a few weeks since the Android 5.0 was available for the Nexus family, and lots of people jumped to the opportunity to get Lollipop running on their devices. However, there has been some issues with the new version that had been quickly addressed.

The new software number is LRX22C and it will fix the issues that came with the initial release of Android 5.0 Lollipop. You can download the factory images from the Google’s developer website or you can wait for the OTA update notification.

Nexus 9

Up to that moment, the devices with the factory images posted on the Google’s developer website are the Nexus 9 (WiFi), the Nexus 7 2013 (WiFi), and the Nexus 10.

If you are the owner of one of those devices, you can now get the latest software available by flashing the factory image. Of course, you can always wait a little bit for the OTA update to get to your tablet.
