Sprint has just announced that the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note Edge are going to get the update to Lollipop. Both are receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop, so if you have one of those devices from Sprint, you can start enjoying the new Android version.
The update will bring the Galaxy Note 3 to the system version N900PVPUEOC5, while the Galaxy Note Edge is jumping to to the version N915PVPU0AOC8.
The changelog from the Galaxy Note 3 just inform that the update will bring Android 5.0. However, on the Galaxy Note Edge releasing notes, there are a couple more features:

Factory Reset Protection
In addition to the enhanced Wi-Fi Colling and the Factory Reset Protection, you are going to get all the new animations and lockscreen notifications that comes with the new software version. Of course, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI is running on top, but the new flavour is still there.
Before starting the download, be sure that you have enough battery and use a Wi-Fi network to download the required file. If you have not get the message already, go to “Settings”, tap on “System Update” and press on “Update now” to start the download.
Once the download is finished, follow the instructions on the screen and you will have your device running the highly expected Android 5.0 Lollipop once the phone restarts.
