Several devices from T-Mobile are receiving a small update. If you are the owner of a Galaxy S4, a Tab 4 8.0 LTE or Avant, you are going to receive an OTA update in the next days.
All those new software versions bring small improvements to the current Android version, and none of those devices are going to get any major change. Basically, this are the improvements that you might notice:
Galaxy S4: the new firmware version is going to be M919UVUFNK2. It brings Chinese language support.
Avant: the new firmware version for that device is G386TUVU1ANK3. With the new software you are going to get the very same Chinese language support.
Tab 4 8.0 LTE: the new firmware is T337TUVU1BNK4. In this case, the new version brings software stability improvements.
As you can see, there is no major change here. However, an update is always a good news, so you can enjoy the new version if you get the notification for the OTA update or you can look for it manually. To do so, you just need to “Check for updates”, an option that you can easily find under the “Settings” menu.
