Samsung Galaxy S6 shows the improvements of having Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

We all know how the best smartphones in the market -especially if they have recently been presented- are often the first to update to the latest versions of the Google’s operating system. This is the case for example of the flagship phones from all the catalog of Samsung. Today we learned that the manufacturer has under development the most recent edition of this platform for all members of Galaxy S6 family. We refer to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Apparently, the first to test the update have been the beta testers: those professional or amateur users who are dedicated to take a look at any version from a more technical perspective. The fact is that thanks to this first test, we have information on what changes and benefits are coming with Android 6.0.1 for the members of the Galaxy S6 family.

A new feature that brings this update has already been available on Apple for quite some time, in order to avoid certain delays or visual glitches. Samsung’s goal is to optimize performance by limiting the speed of movement between applications and menu options. If you look at the video posted by these testers, you’ll see that performance is much smoother, because now we see that moves to the bottom of a page or application is a slightly slower process. So all the TouchWiz users will not feel disappointed with this change.

But there is more. New emojis have been added to the catalog and you can use them in your messaging communications. Some adjustments have been incorporated and streamlined to the notification panel. Moreover, in private mode they are integrated some quick adjustments to make browsing a little more agile. As if this were not enough, users can also opt for a system of nocturnal updates. In this way, you’ll automatically incorporate all the software packages that are necessary, but in a strip in which in principle you will not be using your smartphone (2-5 am).

The update will only be available for so-called beta testers of this version. But if you want to download the new version in the future, all you have to do is access the section Settings > About > Software Update in your device. Having spent the trial period, it is likely that the update is already available to the average user via OTA (Over The Air), so all you have to do is get ready, get the battery fully charged and be connected to a WiFi network that can provide stability in the download.
