Motorola accelerates the arrival of Android 5.1 for some of the models so far has no definitive firmware based on this version of the operating system of Google. If we indicated two days ago that the Moto X 2014 and has profiled the arrival of its ROM, today we have news about the Motorola Moto G 4G LTE and Motorola Moto E first generation.
The information comes, again, from the Google+ account of David Schuster (which is emerging as one of the most active members of the company). The fact is that Android 5.1 version for Motorola Moto G LTE and Moto E is the “soak test”, which is an initial movement with chosen users to receive the update and make sure everything goes as it should. But, yes, development is theoretically going to be displayed permanently as a normal deployment.
The announcement indicates, in the case of Motorola Moto G LTE, the first models to receive Android 5.1 will be the US, but we must not forget that in Brazil and India have already been enhancing this firmware tests where some problems were detected and that have already been solved as Schuster indicated.
Motorola Moto E first generation had also found some problems for Android 5.1 firmware until it was fully functional, and hence the delay in the arrival of this (everything pointed to a component from an outside company). Anyway, it was announced that the light at the end of the tunnel for this terminal is seen, although he has said that in this case will have to wait a few weeks to confirm that the solutions are stable and start the deployment.
The fact is that the Motorola Moto G LTE and Motorola Moto E will have their corresponding updates to Android 5.1, which is good news for users who have one of these phones. Accompanying therefore, the Moto X 2014 (which incidentally has confirmed the trial versions for Verizon and AT&T), so the circle closes in the product range of this company in relation to this version of Google operating system.
