Motorola confirms Android L update for Moto G and Moto X
After the surprise that meant that HTC was the first to confirm the upgrade to Android L -the new Android version presented for Google during Google I/O 2014-, Motorola has also promise that they are going to update their operating system to its last new version, but it’s not yet a real confirmation in the way that Motorola says that Moto X and Moto G will receive Android L on its Facebook Germany website, not on the official one. Motorola would be keen to maintain its good reputation in the field of updates.
Despite which this is very good news, especially because this terminals are beginning to get old in a few months for an Android L and is on the border of time that is typically receive updates. As we said, this confirmation comes from a social network, that is just worth pointing out, as always in these cases, that the commitments given by the social network have not always been the most reliable, because the social pages are often run by external companies, or that are not necessarily aware of all the Motorola plans; the confirmation comes from the German page of Motorola, and not by the overall, which makes all more doubtful, therefore, although we like to believe and be optimistic about it, we will wait for more information, maybe that mention the fate of Moto And before taking for granted.
While nothing is known about the Moto E, a perhaps somewhat more limited terminal, we can be sure about an Android update for Moto G and Moto X. Although, of course, we must not rule out that it can also be updated. We leave the link to Facebook with the idea in mind that Motorola itself is aware of what happens during the Google I/O.
