Android Marshmallow receives a small update that increases or decreases the size of the icons for a same size

When Google announced Android 6.0 Marshmallow, encourages vendors to change the size of app icons to have all the same size so they can get a much more elegant appearance, aesthetically speaking. However, after the operating system came to some smartphones like the Nexus 6P, many users have begun to complain that the recommendation of Google was not being met, something that now Google has decided to take ‘action on the matter’ and is resizing the application icons, enlarging those that had a less than those chosen by the Mountain View company size parameters.

Thus, in view of the different developers of applications for the Android operating system have not followed with the parameters required by Google, the company has chosen to modify the same parameters. These changes are especially visible in some icons like Snapchat whose difference to how they were before the update and how to look after it is quite evident. Another innovation that includes this little update to Android Marshmallow has affected the horizontal rotation of the screen, something that we saw in previous versions of the operating system, but nevertheless was dropped from the final version.

With this release, now the possibility to rotate the screen, but users must have enabled the Auto-rotation, which can be enabled or disabled from the configuration of the device itself. However Android Marshmallow update (in fact Google Now Launcher update) has already presented some small mistakes like some occurred in the Nexus 5X, where screen buttons and favorites tray applications are far apart.

However, this should not be cause for concern because these mistakes will not be visible in the final version of this update it hopes to launch in the coming days, so this update has now been shown to only those users who are registered in the beta program of Google. It is called version v5.8.4.5, however will not reach users in general to once found to have solved all the errors that have arisen as in the Nexus 5X, so the upgrade the final version does not yet have exact release date.
